Bad Badiaa on Zion Rasta Radio

We are proud to announce our new collaboration with Moroccan reggae - ragga performer Bad-Badiaa Mama. Initially travelling to France where she begins to study athletic school, but later she completely de her career in the music industry, starting in Paris. Quickly ahead in reggae music, where she meets a major reggae artists. Gets a chance from Lee Scratch Perry to preform on tour with band "Burning Spear" in the distant 1993. Builds distinctive style in her music where she is singing in two languages, French and Moroccan.

In 2010 she released her first album under the name "Mama". You could hear her music on our radio stream, and enjoy its distinctive sound. Her music is a genre between nostalgia and good mood. Very interesting music that is worth listening.

Buckey Ranks on Zion Rasta Radio

Buckey Ranks’ career emerged from the Jamaican sound system and dancehall scene. A veteran system Singjay who performed in his early career with respected Jamaican sounds such as Mango, Small Axe, Killowatt and Youthman Promotion. Later his charasmatic talent led to a collaboration with Denzil Williams, a UK based producer and owner of the sound system Exodus. This led to tours in the UK, Europe, Canada and the US. During which period Buckey Ranks shared the same stage with Buju Banton, Capleton, Sanchez and many more. His natural progression to writing and independent music production has enabled him to work with and produce some of todays great contemporary reggae stars such as Luciano, Mickey General, Gregory Issacs, Bunny Lye Lye, Robert Lee, Tony Rebel and Mickey Dread.

This post is dedicated for one of the reggae artists that we collaborate with. It is about Scratchylus, reggae artist from Jamaica, worldwide popular for his appearance on TV, magazines, radios, including from now on Zion Rasta Radio. Scratchylus begin practicing music in the late 1990s in London, UK. His creative inspiration is coming from artists such as Denis Brown, Sizzla, Pinchers and Pappa San.But without a doubt, his whole inspiration is coming from His Imperial Majesty Emperor Haile Selassie, someone for whom he has the highest regard.
